Brief description:
Carleton University offers the following Prestige scholarships to outstanding incoming undergraduate students with an admission average of 90% better: the Chancellor’s Scholarship, the Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship, the Carleton University Scholarship of Excellence, the Carleton University SHAD Scholarship, the Riordon Scholarship, and the Collins Prestige Scholarship.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Chancellor’s Scholarships: $30,000 ($7,500 x 4 years).
Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarships: $21,500 ($6,500 in the first year and $5,000 in second, third and fourth year)
Carleton University Scholarships of Excellence: $20,000 ($5,000 x 4 years)
Carleton University SHAD Scholarships: $20,000 ($5,000 x 4 years)
Riordon Scholarship: Full tuition in first, second, third, and fourth year, capped at Canadian domestic full tuition fee amount.
Collins Prestige Scholarship: Full tuition in first, second, third, and fourth year, capped at Canadian domestic full tuition fee amount.
Scholarships are renewable with an annual GPA of 10.0.
Eligibility:
Only if you are joining Carleton straight out of high school or a CEGEP will you be considered for a prestige scholarship. These grants are not available to students who have already attended a post-secondary institution (college or university).
You must get an entrance average of 90 percent or above to be eligible for any prestige scholarships. The selection committee will evaluate the variety of extracurricular activities you participate in in your community or secondary school.
